Farmington, UT (September 4, 2014): Lagoon unveiled plans to debut the most exciting roller coaster in the park’s history, Cannibal. So, no complete layout of the ride, and they are keeping a part of the ride a surprise? Why?????? I see no need for this as releasing the entire ride never hurt any park before the opening.

Don't tempt me to take it off in the first place! lol

lol. I demand everything ALL AT ONCE..

Since the elevator lift is inside I bet that is the "exclusive thrill element."

RE: Cannibal - New for 2015! - dillanjaiho25 - 09-04-2014

I wonder if the "special element" is the beyond vertical DROP. I could be wrong but I didn't see it mentioned in the stats. Although if people are paying attention, the press is confirming the 116 degree angle as we speak. And 2 1/2 minutes for a ride is a long time. This will be awesome!

It's already announced as a vertical lift. The only thing not released of the ride is the rumored heart line roll, so that is most likely the surprise.

EDIT: Actually you can kinda make out part of the barrel roll in some of the photos, so it could be something else.

And I know that I am new but I hope that you amazing people will accept me. I have been following this forum since fall of 2013 and have been amazed with how spot-on you have been since the beginning. I already submitted a request on facebook that after the ride designers and Lagoon employees ride it, you guys (the ones who started this thread so many years ago) should be the first ones on. Can I go right after you guys if that is okay? Smile

Glad you decided to join us, and we accept anyone who loves Lagoon! Happy And yes, I think it would be awesome to have LIF on some of the early rides!
