Lagoon shuttle is now a trolley

UTA has swapped out the regular Lagoon shuttle bus for a new trolley. Hopefully they'll adjust the schedule to align with Front Runner better.

I wonder if you can ride the shuttle from Lagoon over to the mall for Free also. Would be nice to leave and get food that's not in the park

Unless they change how the shuttle has always operated taking it to Station Park from Lagoon for free should not be a problem.

Looks like it's a permanent year round route that is FREE! Interesting they are going back to "Trolley" themed buses, as UTA used to use a "Trolley" bus in the 1990s for the "Lagoon Trolley" and other routes in Downtown SLC and Ogden.

We got a trolley bus here in Layton too that is free to ride. Maybe that will be the design for the free routes that are popping up?

Here is the announcement of it on Twitter: https://twitter.com/RideUTA/status/1070108436468256769

The one they had in the 80's and 90's was better. It looked more like a trolley with a mostly wood exterior, connected with the bus route in a timely manner, and drove straight to/from Lagoon without a tour of Farmington.
